From time to time, customers write to us and send us beautiful photos and feedback about using our products. Many of them are posted on our walls here in the office. It really makes our day when we here from you and are touched by the time and energy put into the letters we get. We have been surprised and thrilled at how personal the web can turn out to be! Thank you for all the support and inspiration of Nature's Child. I can't remember exactly how I found your site now, but I know that, as a new mother committed to natural parenting, but often unsure how to make that commitment happen, I was really searching for enabling and inspiring ideas, as well as practical resources -- organic alternatives, green products etc. The resources available from Nature's Child are amazing. For example, it was great to be able to trial different nappy systems as we worked out what would work for us. We now have an eccentric mix and match of options all provided by Nature's Child, which suit us perfectly.
As our burgeoning Benjamin has got older, it's been wonderful to be able to purchase other things too. After some scary experiences surveying the toys available at department stores, most of which struck us as disabling creativity, rather than enabling it, we have been really pleased to be able to order such beautiful things as the Gepetto disc stacker. Ben spins the discs, uses them like castanets, hides them under things, and of course chews them, which is quite OK given their organic paint (though I'm suggesting to him that he doesn't go quite as far as eating them, which he seems keen to try!) As his birthday approaches we'll be buying presents from Nature's Child, and we've also suggested to his grandparents, when they asked what he would like, that they might find inspiration here too!
There are too many other treats and essentials to list -- if only more women knew what a superb pregnancy and post-partum tea nettle tea is! And it's also wonderful that you have sourced great reading material. Informed Choice, Byron Child and especially the beautiful Belly journal are all full of compassionate and absorbing reading for those of us less-than-seduced by the dominant models of parenting.
I love Nature's News, which is always full of positive, creative ideas. It would have taken me a lot of work to source all the things you've found and make available through your business, and I doubt I would ever have been able to do so. So, a heartfelt thank you from our family. We feel it was serendipitous to have found such a rich source of ideas and resources. It's always a great pleasure to deal with Nature's Child -- when our parcels arrive, which they always do very swiftly, they always contain wonderful information, and they are so beautifully presented! And your personal input is exceptional -- you've really helped me when I've been grappling with issues such as baby sleep, and feeding, with great generosity.

Thankyou for helping to find some nice natural soap for me. The lovely smell that emerged was delightful as I ripped open the wrapping. I couldn’t wait to get Drew into the bath. Your website and online store are brilliant! I am an "attachment parenting" mum from the USA, and my family and I had the pleasure of travelling "Down Under" with our toddler this past November. After surviving the 14 hour plane ride from LA to Sydney, we were so delighted with the Aussie hospitality that we received throughout our holiday. I was happy to see many mums breastfeeding in public and met many lovely families along the way. Before I felt there was no alternative (other than making everything myself).

Dear Janine and all at Nature's Child: Thanks a lot for the Zappy Nappies, and the last pair of waterproof pants - I received it last week. I'm very happy with my choice of nappy system, it's working well. My little girl is prone to nappy rash, I find that the dri liners are must-have, they're brilliant. I've ordered some more. During the day, and in this weather, a Zappy Nappy with a dri liner is all we need, I only use the waterproof pants at night. Best of all, I haven't used one disposable nappy since I got my Zappies - they're so easy to put on, there's absolutely no need to use disposable when we go out or at night. The one drawback is people's comments... There's a myth being spread out there that disposable nappies are better for the environment than cloth ones, because landfill disposal is better than using water for washing. I also found this sort of comment in Choice magazine, usually a good source of information. Obviously, they haven't calculated how much water, resources, electricity are used to produce one disposable nappy. Do you know where I could find this information (short of ringing the manufacturers?).

Hi Jannine, I got the NAPPY FREE video, thanks. I am so excited about this process, despite the weird looks I get. I started Joshua on it Yesterday and today he went to the toilet and did poo's. I was so excited. He seemed proud of himself, seems silly at this age, but he knew what to do.
